NRA Basic Pistol Class
sponsored by BVRPC
Do you have a fear of that gun that's been in your closet for so long, or are you resisting buying a gun because you don't know enough about them to consider yourself safe while handling one?
Maybe you've owned and used a pistol for years but never got any instruction on the basic safety principles and shooting fundamentals you'd need to build a basis of becoming a good shooter.
If this describes you then please consider attending our NRA Basic Pistol Class, sponsored by B.V.R.P.C.
In this three day, 12 hour course of instruction, topics covered will include safe gun handling, pistol operation, shooting fundamentals, ammunition basics, gun cleaning and live fire shooting sessions with one-on-one student/instructor training, plus many more important subjects.

You DO NOT need to own a gun to attend this class. All pistols, ammunition and safety gear are provided for every student.
We use revolvers for the hands-on training, however, semi-autos are covered to a degree, and students are normally afforded an opportunity to operate semi-automatic pistols after class is completed.
As the name implies, this is a BASIC PISTOL course and is focused on getting you started in proper and responsible gun ownership.
It is a perfect starting point if eventually you wish to explore training in such topics as home protection, personal protection, tactical gun training or an education in gun laws.
For class dates and costs, please see our current flyer, or call 724-847-7560 for reservations.
